Azerbaijan's air defence units execute tactical-special exercise To boost readiness / VIDEO
Azerbaijan's Air Defence troops conducted a tactical-special exercise involving radio technical units of the Air Force as part of their 2024 training plan.
The exercise aimed to enhance the operational readiness of the air defence units by bringing them to combat mode on alert. The participating units focused on detecting and tracking small-sized, low-altitude, and low-speed aerial targets, and effectively relaying this critical information to relevant command centers, Caliber.Az reports.
The primary objective of the drill was to improve the practical skills of the operations staff in countering sudden air attacks from a simulated adversary.
Additionally, the exercise provided an opportunity to refine methods for utilizing radio engineering and communication systems under various conditions, including differing weather, terrain, and electronic warfare scenarios.
