Azerbaijan’s first lady visits Ala Archa State Residence in Bishkek PHOTO

On September 1, Azerbaijan’s First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, together with the first ladies of Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, and China — Aigul Zhaparova, Emine Erdoğan, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, and Peng Liyuan — visited the Ala Archa State Residence in Bishkek.

Aigul Zhaparova welcomed Mehriban Aliyeva and the other first ladies upon their arrival at the state residence, Caliber.Az reports per state media.

As part of a cultural program hosted at Ala Archa State Residence, the first ladies toured an exhibition showcasing handicrafts created by masters of Kyrgyz traditional decorative and applied arts.

The exhibition offered the distinguished guests an insight into the Kyrgyz people’s rich cultural heritage, distinctive traditions, centuries-old craftsmanship, and national identity.

Among the works on display were felt items, traditional household objects, creations by folk artisans, and a range of other handicrafts highlighting the diversity and distinctive character of Kyrgyz decorative and applied art.

The guests also attended a concert program specially arranged for the occasion. Creative groups and performers presented a series of musical and dance performances celebrating the beauty of Kyrgyz national culture, the richness of its traditions, and the renowned hospitality of its people.
