Azerbaijan’s parliament, the Milli Majlis, has ratified an agreement on cooperation and mutual assistance in the customs sphere with Jordan, strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries.
The draft law approving the agreement was presented for consideration during a plenary meeting of the spring session of the Milli Majlis. Following discussions, lawmakers voted to adopt the bill in a single reading, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The agreement, which aims to enhance collaboration and information exchange between the customs authorities of Azerbaijan and Jordan, was signed in Baku on November 27, 2025.
Officials say the pact is expected to facilitate trade, improve customs procedures, and support efforts to combat customs-related offenses between the two countries.
