Azerbaijan’s president congratulates Belgian king on national holiday

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has congratulated King Philippe of Belgium on the country’s national holiday.

In a letter addressed to the Belgian monarch, President Aliyev conveyed congratulations on his own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports per Azertag.

“On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I cordially congratulate you, and through you, all your people on the occasion of the national holiday of the Kingdom of Belgium,” President Aliyev wrote.

He also expressed his best wishes to King Philippe and wished the people of Belgium lasting peace and prosperity.

“On this remarkable day, I convey my best wishes to you and wish the people of Belgium everlasting peace and prosperity,” the Azerbaijani president said.
