Azerbaijani president extends National Day greetings to Kuwait
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has extended his warm congratulations to the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, ahead of the Gulf nation’s national holiday.
According to Caliber.Az the letter has been published on the official website of the Azerbaijani head of state.
In a letter, Aliyev expressed his greetings on his own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, wishing his most sincere congratulations and best wishes to the entire people of Kuwait on the occasion of the country’s national holiday.
Highlighting the strong bilateral ties, the Azerbaijani president noted, “The current level of Azerbaijan-Kuwait interstate relations, developing in a spirit of mutual respect and trust, is a source of satisfaction. The high-level mutual understanding and active dialogue create favourable conditions for expanding cooperation in various fields.”
Aliyev further expressed confidence in the future of the partnership, stating, “I am confident that the traditionally friendly ties between Azerbaijan and Kuwait, and our fruitful cooperation both bilaterally and within international organisations, will continue to expand and deepen through our joint efforts in the interests of our two peoples.”
