Azerbaijan’s president sends independence day greetings to Bangladesh
President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the President of Bangladesh, Mr. Mohammed Shahabuddin, and the people of Bangladesh on the occasion of the country’s national holiday, Independence Day.
In a message of goodwill, President Aliyev expressed Azerbaijan's commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations, Caliber.Az reports via Azertag.
"On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I sincerely congratulate you and your entire nation on the occasion of your country’s national holiday – Independence Day," President Aliyev stated.
Highlighting the importance of enhancing cooperation, President Aliyev noted that Azerbaijan attaches great significance to expanding relations with Bangladesh. "We attach great importance to expanding Azerbaijan-Bangladesh relations and enriching our cooperation with new content. The friendship established between our countries has created favorable opportunities for this."
Looking forward to further collaboration, President Aliyev expressed optimism about the future of the bilateral relationship. "I believe that we will continue our joint efforts to strengthen interstate relations and realize the full potential of our cooperation for the benefit of our peoples."
The Azerbaijani President also used the occasion to offer additional well wishes to the people of Bangladesh. "Taking this opportunity, I extend my sincere congratulations and best wishes to you and the friendly people of Bangladesh on the upcoming holy Ramadan holiday."
