Azerbaijan’s top leadership sends Independence Day greetings to Moldova
President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has sent a congratulatory letter to Maia Sandu, President of Moldova, on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day, reaffirming Baku’s strong commitment to enhancing bilateral ties.
In his message, President Aliyev conveyed warm congratulations to President Sandu and the people of Moldova, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
“We attach great importance to the development of the traditional friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Moldova.
I am confident that through our joint efforts, in the interests of our countries and peoples, we will be able to make more effective use of the existing potential of Azerbaijan-Moldova relations and further advance our mutually beneficial cooperation both on a bilateral basis and within multilateral frameworks.
On this remarkable day, I wish you robust health, happiness, success in your activities, and everlasting peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Moldova,” the head of state noted.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan officially congratulated the Republic of Moldova on the occasion of its Independence Day, reaffirming the spirit of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
The congratulatory message was published on the Ministry’s official X account.
"Congratulations to friendly Moldova and its people on the occasion of Independence Day!” the statement read.
