Azerbaijan, Türkiye discuss military medical service
Deputy Head of Turkish National Defence Ministry’s Medical Service Maj Gen Durmus Aydemir and Chief of Azerbaijani Defence Ministry's Medical Department Maj Gen Firudin Nabiyev discussed issues of adapting the military medical service to the Turkish model.
The sides met during the Turkish delegation’s visit to Azerbaijani Defence Ministry’s medical department, the ministry's official website reported on May 12.
Nabiyev informed the guests in detail about the organisation of the medical service in the Azerbaijani army, in particular, about the activities of military medical personnel during the Patriotic War.
The guests also got acquainted with the Main Clinical Hospital, the Central Military Polyclinic, the Central Dental Polyclinic, the Centre for Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance and the Centre for Forensic Medical Examination and Pathological Anatomy.
In the end, the sides exchanged presents and a photo was taken.
