Azerbaijani PM conveys compassion to Montenegrin colleague over fatal shooting
Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov has extended his sympathies to Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajić following the fatal armed attack in the city of Cetinje.
His letter has been published by the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers, Caliber.Az reports.
Prime Minister Asadov joins other Azerbaijani officials in expressing his sorrow over the tragic incident, which resulted in 12 casualties, including 2 children and numerous injured. He extends his deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims and wished a swift recovery to those injured.
As Caliber.Az recalls, a dispute at a local bar escalated into violence when an armed assailant, Aco Martinović, 45, opened fire on the evening of January 1. In the course of the shooting 12 people were killed, including two children with several others having been injured.
