Azerbaijan-UAE partnership advances with focus on energy, tourism, culture President Aliyev welcomes Minister Ahmed Al Jaber in Khankandi
On July 4, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates, in Khankandi.
Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber conveyed the greetings of the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to President Aliyev. In response, President Aliyev expressed his gratitude and asked the minister to extend his greetings to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Minister Ahmed Al Jaber extended his best wishes for the success of the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization, being held in Khankandi. He also remarked on the significant impression made by the reconstruction efforts in Karabakh and East Zangazur, highlighting both the scope of the redevelopment and the natural beauty of these regions.
The meeting reflected mutual satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates, which have advanced to a strategic level in line with the vision of both countries’ leaders. It was emphasized that Azerbaijan and the UAE continue to support each other within various international organizations.
The discussion also encompassed cooperation in renewable energy, with particular focus on the activities of Masdar company in Azerbaijan, strategic action programs, and forthcoming projects in this sector.
Additionally, the conversation addressed prospects for collaboration across multiple fields, including energy, tourism, humanitarian efforts, and cultural exchange.
