Azerbaijan welcomes Ethiopian PM with official state ceremony

On February 27, an official welcoming ceremony was held in Baku, Azerbaijan, for Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali.

State flags of both countries were displayed as an honour guard was formed to receive the prime minister, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva greeted Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali and First Lady Zinash Tayachew.

The commander of the honour guard reported to the Ethiopian prime minister, and the national anthems of Ethiopia and Azerbaijan were played.

The honour guard marched to the sound of a military parade before President Aliyev and Prime Minister Abiy, concluding with an official photo session.
