Azerbaijani Air Force Commander visits Azerbaijani embassy in US, meets with his US counterpart PHOTO

Lieutenant-General Ramiz Tahirov, Deputy Minister of Defence and Commander of the Azerbaijani Air Force, who is on a trip to the United States, visited the administrative building of Azerbaijan's embassy in Washington on April 10.

General Tahirov met with Ambassador Khazar Ibrahim and the staff of the diplomatic mission, Report informs.

The Azerbaijani general also met with the US Air Force Commander General of the Army Charles Brown. The parties discussed the current state of military cooperation between the two countries and issues of regional security.

"Pleasure to host Azerbaijan Deputy Minister of Defence and Air Force Commander Lt Gen Ramiz Tahirov and Ambassador Khazar Ibrahim. We had a productive discussion about our bilateral defence relationship and maintaining regional peace and stability," General Brown wrote on Twitter, per Caliber.Az.
