Azerbaijani artillery units excel in precision live-fire tactical drill

Under the training plan of the Сombined Arms Army for 2024, artillery units conduct exemplary live-fire tactical exercises.

According to the plan of the exercise, the units held activities on capturing firing positions, preparing artillery weapon systems for combat use, and other tasks, Caliber.Az reports citing the Ministry of Defence.

During the exercise, which was conducted under conditions closely resembling real combat, the artillery units identified and destroyed both planned and unexpected targets of a simulated enemy with precise fire.

The focus of the exercise was on ensuring that the fire support group commanders and regulators accurately determined the coordinates of targets, measured distances and angles correctly, and effectively performed their duties during fire control, thereby enhancing their combat capabilities.
