Azerbaijan thanks NATO for Washington peace deal congratulations
The Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to NATO has expressed gratitude to NATO Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy Boris Ruge for his congratulations on the agreements reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia on August 8 in Washington.
In a post on its X account reported by Caliber.Az, the Mission noted that “Azerbaijan is determined in its contribution to the international peace and security within the framework of the Partnership for Peace (PFP) program”
The post also underlined that Azerbaijan remains committed to its partnership with NATO.
On August 12, Boris Ruge met with the representatives of Azerbaijan and Armenia to the Alliance, where they discussed the outcome of the leaders’ talks in Washington.
