Azerbaijani customs officers prevent smuggling of medicines from Georgia PHOTO

Employees of the State Customs Committee have prevented the smuggling of medicines from Georgia.

During the inspection of a truck travelling from Georgia to Azerbaijan, 920 vials, 515 convalutes, 400 units of medicines of different names, various types of dental supplies and 9,000 units of tobacco products were found in the fuel tank, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Committee.

In the trailer of another vehicle coming from Georgia to Azerbaijan, 1 002 boxes with pyrotechnic means were found from a hidden place of storage of artisanal production.

An investigation is underway into the fact.
