Azerbaijani PM arrives in Iran, set to attend third Caspian Economic Forum
The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers has announced that Prime Minister Ali Asadov arrived in Iran for a working visit.
Upon his arrival at Tehran's Mehrabad International Airport, Asadov was greeted by Iran's Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Co-chairperson of the State Commission for Economic, Trade, and Humanitarian Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran Farzaneh Sadegh, along with other officials, the Cabinet of Ministers told Caliber.Az.
During his visit, Asadov is set to participate in the third Caspian Economic Forum.
The third Caspian Economic Forum commenced in Tehran on February 17, with officials from the Caspian countries in attendance.
This two-day event aims to explore ways to enhance economic and trade cooperation among the Caspian countries. Director General for Central Asia, the Caucasus, and Russia at Iran's Trade Promotion Organisation (TPO) Akbar Godari said that key discussion areas include healthcare, energy, finance, tourism, investment in free trade zones, and logistics.
