Azerbaijani president approves amendments to laws on demining and protection of historical monuments

President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has approved amendments to the laws on Demining and the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments.

According to Caliber.Az, the information was published on the official website of the head of state.

Under the amendments, if an object of cultural or historical significance is discovered during demining operations in the city of Shusha, work must be immediately suspended.
