Azerbaijani president congratulates Cuban leader

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez on the occasion of this country's national holiday - Freedom Day.

“On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I cordially congratulate you and all your people on the national holiday of the Republic of Cuba - Liberation Day.

“We attach special importance to the comprehensive development of traditionally friendly Azerbaijani-Cuban relations. I believe that in the interests of our peoples, we will continue to successfully continue our joint efforts aimed at strengthening interstate ties and further expanding our cooperation both bilaterally and multilaterally.

“Taking advantage of this pleasant opportunity, I also send you my most sincere congratulations on the New Year 2024, I wish the friendly people of Cuba constant well-being and prosperity,” the presidential congratulatory letter reads.
