Azerbaijani President, First Lady visits Aghdam District

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited the Agdam district on October 4.

The president reviewed the work on the newly built Barda-Aghdam highway, Caliber.Az reports with reference to the president's official website.

Then the president and the first lady took part in the foundation laying ceremony of an equestrian centre in Eyvazkhanbayli village of the Aghdam district.

President Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva reviewed the upcoming work in Panah Ali Khan’s palace and complex of buildings, took part in the opening ceremony of the monument to Khurshidban Natavan, the foundation laying ceremony of a residential area consisting of 470 apartments built for former internally displaced people in Aghdam city, the city's railway and bus station complex.
