Azerbaijani president inaugurates Samad Vurghun Creativity House in Baku PHOTO
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the official inauguration of the Samad Vurghun Creativity House of the Azerbaijan Writers’ Union in the Shuvalan settlement of Baku’s Khazar district.
As part of the event, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov briefed the president on the newly established facilities at the Creativity House, highlighting its potential to serve as a hub for cultural and literary activity, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The complex spans nearly 3 hectares and includes a total of 43 rooms, offering both “suite” and “standard” accommodations. Designed to support a variety of creative and professional gatherings, the facility features a 174-seat conference hall equipped for hosting events such as creative evenings, literary meetings, and other cultural functions.
Additional amenities within the complex include a cinema, library, indoor and outdoor restaurants, a café, and a fitness area. To further enhance the experience for visitors, sports facilities such as football and tennis courts, along with children’s playgrounds, are also part of the premises.
