Azerbaijani president, Israeli minister focus on COP29, strengthening bilateral ties

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received Miri Regev, the Minister of Transport and Road Safety of Israel.

Minister Regev delivered greetings from the President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, to President Ilham Aliyev, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

The Azerbaijani President expressed his appreciation for the greetings and asked Regev to convey his own greetings to President Herzog.

The sides discussed the importance of the COP29 conference held in Baku, emphasizing the significance of addressing climate change during such discussions. Minister Regev also congratulated Azerbaijan on the successful organization of the COP29 conference.

Additionally, the meeting included an exchange of views on the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Israel.
