Azerbaijani president offers condolences at Iranian embassy in Baku Photo

President Ilham Aliyev visited the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baku on March 4 to offer his condolences on the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyid Ali Khamenei and many civilians.
Iran’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mojtaba Demirchilou, welcomed the head of state, Caliber.Az reports via presidential press service.
The President of Azerbaijan wrote his condolences in the book of condolence. Afterwards, the head of state spoke with the ambassador.
President Aliyev said he would always remember his meetings with Ayatollah Ali Khamenei during his visits to Iran with the fondest memories.
Demirchilou expressed his gratitude to the President of Azerbaijan for visiting the embassy to offer his condolences.
