Azerbaijani president offers condolences to Turkish counterpart
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolences to his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan as a fire broke out in the Kartalkaya resort in Bolu province.

“Dear Mr. President, dear Brother,
We are deeply shocked by the news of the fire at a hotel in the Kartalkaya resort in Bolu province, which resulted in the loss of many lives.
In light of this tragedy, I share your sorrow and extend my deep condolences to you, the families and loved ones of the victims, and the brotherly people of Türkiye, on behalf of myself and the people of Azerbaijan. I also wish a swift recovery to the injured.
May Allah rest their souls in peace!”
Meanwhile, Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov has also expressed his condolences to Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz following the devastating fire at a ski resort in Bolu province.
In a letter, Asadov conveyed his sympathy to Vice President Yılmaz, the families and loved ones of the victims, and the people of Türkiye. He also wished a swift recovery to those injured in the tragic incident.
The fire, which broke out at a hotel in the Kartalkaya ski resort, resulted in the loss of 66 lives and left 51 others injured. The Azerbaijani government continues to offer support to Türkiye in the aftermath of this tragedy.
