President Aliyev signs Board of Peace Charter at Davos Forum PHOTO/VIDEO/UPDATED
A ceremony for the signing of the Board of Peace Charter has taken place in Davos, with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in attendance.
President Aliyev, along with other heads of state and government participating in the event, signed the Board of Peace Charter, Caliber.Az reports, citing the official website of the Azerbaijani president.

The signing ceremony for the Board of Peace Charter is underway in Davos, with the participation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.
The event is being held alongside the annual World Economic Forum, Caliber.Az reports
US President Donald Trump is also present, unveiling his Board of Peace initiative live during the ceremony.
Presidents, prime ministers and top diplomats from more than a dozen countries are present at Trump's international “Board of Peace” initiative at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
The Board of Peace is designed to oversee reconstruction efforts in Gaza. The initiative stems from the Comprehensive Plan for Ending the Gaza Conflict, presented in September 2025, and has received international recognition, including endorsement through UN Security Council Resolution 2803 on November 17, 2025.
