Azerbaijani president signs new decrees on industry, international cooperation, and security
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a series of new decrees reshaping the country's industrial, international, and security initiatives.
Under one decree, the Sumgait Chemical-Industrial Park has been renamed the Sumgait Industrial Park, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
The Cabinet of Ministers and the Ministry of Economy have been tasked with addressing matters arising from the decree.
In another decree, President Aliyev approved the creation of an Organizing Committee for the 2026 annual meetings of the Islamic Development Bank Group in Baku. Deputy Prime Minister Samir Sharifov has been appointed as the chairman of the committee.
Additionally, President Aliyev signed a decree approving the design of the battle standard for the State Agency for the Protection of Strategic Facilities.
