Azerbaijani, Turkish presidents exchange Ramadan greetings in phone call
On March 29, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation to mark the occasion of the holy Ramadan holiday.
During the call, President Erdoğan extended his heartfelt congratulations to President Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan, wishing the country prosperity and abundance, Caliber.Az reports, the official website of the Azerbaijani president.
President Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the warm wishes and, in turn, congratulated President Erdoğan and the brotherly people of Türkiye on the holiday, extending his best wishes.
President Erdoğan thanked his Azerbaijani counterpart for the greetings.
The two leaders also discussed the prospects for further strengthening Azerbaijan-Türkiye relations, which are rooted in brotherhood and alliance, and expressed their hope to meet again soon.
