Baku hosts official welcome ceremony for Rwandan president PHOTO

Baku hosted an official welcome ceremony on September 20 for the President of the Republic of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, who arrived in Azerbaijan for an official visit.

A guard of honour was arranged in a square adorned with the national flags of both countries. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev personally welcomed President Kagame, Caliber.Az reports via Azertag. 

The chief of the guard of honour presented a formal report to the Rwandan leader.

Following the report, the national anthems of Rwanda and Azerbaijan were played, and the guard of honour marched in front of both presidents to the accompaniment of a military march. The event concluded with official photographs of the two leaders.
