Chinese envoy pledges cooperation with Azerbaijan on AI development

The Azerbaijani government is placing significant emphasis on the development of artificial intelligence (AI), Chinese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Lu Mei said.

Speaking during a media briefing, Lu Mei highlighted that China is prepared to engage in comprehensive cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of artificial intelligence, Caliber.Az reports. 

She described AI as a highly promising area that could provide new momentum for bilateral relations between the two countries.

The ambassador also reaffirmed the partnership between the two countries on the path to development and revival. She also noted that the two countries are important members of the Global South.

Lu Mei noted that China supports Azerbaijan in following a path of development that is appropriate to its national conditions. 

China is ready to share with Azerbaijan the opportunities of Chinese modernisation, jointly create a new future for mutual benefit and development of both countries, and build a community with a shared future for mankind, Lu Mei emphasised.
