Chinese president extends warm wishes to Azerbaijani leader on Novruz Emphasizes growing cooperation

Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China, has sent a heartfelt message of congratulations to Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on the occasion of the Novruz holiday. 

In a letter, President Xi expressed his gratitude for the congratulatory message from President Aliyev on the Chinese Spring Festival, extending his warmest wishes to both the Azerbaijani people and leadership, Caliber.Az reports, citing Azertag.

In his message, Xi highlighted the ongoing development of the strategic partnership between China and Azerbaijan, noting the strengthening of political mutual trust and the progress made in cooperation, particularly through the Belt and Road Initiative. He also emphasized the growing collaboration between the two nations on the international stage.

"I highly value the development of relations between China and Azerbaijan," President Xi wrote, reaffirming his commitment to working with President Aliyev to further enhance bilateral ties. He expressed a strong desire to continue strengthening the traditional friendship and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation for the well-being of both nations.

In conclusion, President Xi wished President Aliyev good health, as well as happiness and prosperity for the people of Azerbaijan, further underlining the significance of the enduring partnership between the two countries.
