COP29 to feature “Green Growth Portal" project
A "Green Growth Portal" project will be presented at the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, scheduled to take place in Baku from November 11 to 22.
Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov made a post on his X account in this regard, Caliber.Az reports.
He stated that during a videoconference with Ricardo Hausmann, the founder and Director of Harvard's Growth Lab, they discussed various aspects of bilateral cooperation.

Hausman expressed the Growth Lab's interest in supporting Azerbaijan's efforts to establish a diversified and stable economy.
They explored the "Green Growth Portal" project, initiated by the center, which will be presented at COP29. This portal aims to help countries identify opportunities for green development using the Growth Lab's "Economic Complexity" methodology, which aligns with Azerbaijan's commitment to green growth.
The meeting concluded with a dialogue on future cooperation between Azerbaijan and Harvard University.
