Cuba’s president sends Independence Day congratulations to Azerbaijan

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel has sent a letter to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, congratulating Azerbaijan on the upcoming Independence Day on May 28.

In his message, Díaz-Canel extended greetings to President Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan, marking the national occasion and expressing goodwill toward the country, Caliber.Az reports per the presidential office.

He also reaffirmed Cuba’s intention to further strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation between Havana and Baku.
