Czech president hails need to increase assistance to Ukraine

Spokesman for president of the Czech Republic Jiri Ovcacek has said that President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman announced the need to increase assistance to Ukraine in response to mobilisation in the Russian Federation.

"Russian mobilisation is obviously a consequence of Ukraine's recent military success," RBC-Ukraine reports on September 21 with reference to Ovcacek’s message on Twitter.

President Zeman said that an adequate response would be to increase aid to Ukraine.

The president noted that assistance should be rendered not only in the military sphere.
