EU allies to discuss next Ukraine military aid, new anti-Russia sanctions

High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell has said that the EU foreign ministers will discuss another tranche of military aid to Ukraine and new sanctions against Russia on May 22.

In addition to Hungary’s opposing the eleventh package of anti-Russian sanctions, some other states also have issues they would like to discuss, TASS quotes Borrell as saying.

"EU foreign ministers will discuss on Monday [May 22] both the new package of sanctions against Russia and the new tranche of military aid to Ukraine from the European Peace Facility. We intend to start a discussion on new sanctions against Russia," he said.
