European Council President António Costa concludes official visit to Azerbaijan photo

The official visit of António Costa, President of the European Council, to Azerbaijan concluded on March 12.

According to local media, a farewell ceremony for the visiting official was held at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, where the national flags of Azerbaijan and the European Union were displayed, and a guard of honour was lined up in recognition of the high-ranking guest.

Costa was seen off by Samir Sharifov, Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Yalchin Rafiyev, Deputy Foreign Minister, along with other officials.
