Finnish president hails dialogue on security issues with Azerbaijan
Finnish President Alexander Stubb has congratulated Azerbaijan on the occasion of its 108th Independence Day, expressing support for continued cooperation and dialogue on regional and global security issues.
In a message addressed to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Stubb extended congratulations on behalf of the Finnish people and government, Caliber.Az reports via state media.
“On behalf of the people of Finland and myself, I wish to extend my sincere congratulations and best wishes to you and to the people of Azerbaijan on the 108th Independence Day of Azerbaijan,” the Finnish president said.
Stubb also emphasised the importance of maintaining constructive bilateral engagement and dialogue on broader international security matters.
“I look forward to continuing our constructive cooperation and our substantive dialogue on European and global security issues,” he added.
