France plans to transfer armoured personnel carriers to Ukraine

French Armed Forces Minister Sebastien Lecornu has said Ukraine would receive a "significant number" of armoured personnel carriers.

“In order to move quickly through areas under enemy fire, the troops need armoured vehicles, Le Parisien newspaper quotes him as saying.

"France will hand over a significant number of armoured personnel carriers,” Lecornu said.

In addition to armoured vehicles for transporting personnel, Ukraine has also purchased Exocet anti-ship missile systems from France.
