From "hawks" to "doves of peace" We remember everything
It's good that Facebook has a useful function and allows you to remember what happened on this day in different years. Today, this function reminds me that exactly three years ago, the Armenian prime minister’s common-law partner Anna Hakobyan announced that she was going to “defend the borders of her homeland” in Karabakh. At that point, she made this post on her Facebook page.
She did not mention that Karabakh was not her homeland, but the territory of Azerbaijan and was being liberated by its army. However, Madame Hakobyan told the world that military training began on September 27, 2020, in which, in addition to her, 12 more Armenian women were supposed to take part. At that time, there were fewer and fewer men capable of fighting in Armenia.
It was only later that all the shameful statistics became clear - there were over 11,000 deserters in the ranks of the Armenian army. The logic of the fugitives from the front was already clear then - no matter how the military-political leadership of Armenia chattered about a “tactical retreat,” everything in reality was already clear by that time. The Azerbaijani army methodically and consistently liberated the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.
That is, as of October 27, 2000, the only question was when the surrender of the Republic of Armenia would be officially announced and how many more victims would be made in the name of Pashinyan’s retention of power. As a result, Armenia capitulated on the night of November 10, 2020. Officially, however, this capitulation was called the Tripartite Statement of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia.
This was a forced measure for official Yerevan. Nikol Pashinyan, who is trying to pose as a “peace dove” today, should remember not only about the formation of a women’s battalion by his wife, who in the end, did not fight anywhere, but also about the fact that it was on that day when Madame Hakobyan told the world about her warlike fantasies, and Armenia fired Smerch missiles at the village of Garayusifli in Barda District, located far from the combat zone.
In general, Barda District and the city center were subjected to rocket and heavy artillery fire by the Armenian Armed Forces three times (October 5, 27 and 28). As a result, 29 people were killed, 112 were injured, and significant damage was caused to civilian infrastructure and vehicles. But there were also rocket attacks on Ganja and Mingachevir, as a result of which many houses were also destroyed and civilians were killed.
Nikol Pashinyan has not repented for these crimes, but Anna Hakobyan tries not to remember them as she no longer remembers her invitation to Azerbaijanis to visit Shusha. The city has been liberated and is being actively restored now. International festivals and forums are held there. Shusha is regaining its glory as the conservatory of the Caucasus. All Azerbaijani territories liberated during the 44-day war are being rapidly restored. The process of relocating the true owners of these lands there is also underway.
Exactly the same thing will happen with Khankendi, Khojaly, Khojavand, which were liberated last month during the anti-terrorist measures. As a result, not only the destruction of Armenian illegal formations occurred, but also the self-dissolution of the Karabakh junta, whose former leaders were detained and taken to Baku. Their trial is still ahead. But it’s easy to imagine what all of them (Arkadi Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, Arayik Harutyunyan and Ruben Vardanyan) think about Nikol Pashinyan and Anna Hakobyan.
However, by and large, these are purely Armenians’ emotional upheaval. Azerbaijan, in the words of the hero of the famous movie, is “satisfied with the ruins of the Reichstag”. Except that our country is watching with interest attempts of Anna and Nikol, who were just yesterday “hawks,” to pose as “doves of peace”.
