Georgia calls Azerbaijani president’s visit significant for regional cooperation
Georgia’s Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili highlighted the significance of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s state visit to Georgia, noting that high-level exchanges between the two countries play a crucial role in strengthening bilateral ties.
“Visits and meetings between senior officials of Georgia and Azerbaijan are of great importance. They foster intensive development of relations and continue to expand cooperation across multiple sectors,” Botchorishvili said, Caliber.Az reports via state media.
She added, “The visit to Georgia by the head of state, who is a strategic partner, neighbor, and friendly country, holds particular significance for us. Strengthening political and economic links between neighboring and friendly states is especially vital given ongoing developments in the region. During President Aliyev’s visit, all key issues will be discussed.”
