According to the German Air Force, this is the second time that Russian military aircraft have flown over the Baltic without a detection signal.
Earlier, the press service of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) announced the interception of two Russian aircraft in the US air defense zone.
“Russian planes remained in international airspace and did not enter the sovereign space of the United States and Canada. Such actions by Russia are taken regularly and are not considered as a threat or provocation,” NORAD said.
