Uzbekistan, Japan hold talks in Tokyo to boost economic ties PHOTO
Uzbekistan's Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, visited Tokyo for a series of high-level meetings aimed at expanding economic cooperation and attracting Japanese investment.
According to Uzbekistan's Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, Kudratov held talks with Ryosei Akazawa to discuss measures for strengthening bilateral trade and investment ties and deepening strategic cooperation between the two countries, Caliber.Az reports.
The visit also included meetings between the Uzbek delegation and executives from major Japanese companies. The discussions focused on opportunities for collaboration across several sectors, including energy, finance, banking, microfinance, and logistics.
As a result of the talks, the parties reached agreements on the implementation of a number of joint projects, according to the ministry.
