Germans unhappy with Scholz's performance
Over 70% of Germans do not approve of the activities of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
The German paper Bild reports, citing the research data from the INSA Institute.
According to the results of the institute's survey, 72% of respondents disagree with the performance of the federal chancellor. This figure has increased by 3% since the early December.
“Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz was rated particularly poorly. Only one in five (20%) think Scholz has done a good job, a figure that has also worsened by three points,” the paper says.
It is noted that 76% of Germans are generally dissatisfied with the work of the federal government. Only 17% of citizens assess it positively. This figure is the worst for the ruling coalition since it led the government in December 2021.
