French unit "International Revenge" trains near Kyiv ahead of deployment
A unit of French volunteers is currently training at a military camp near Kyiv in preparation for deployment to the frontline.
The tactical group, known as "International Revenge," consists of seven French nationals and operates as part of Ukrainian intelligence, Caliber.Az reports, citing French radio.
The unit is undergoing specialised training at a facility dedicated to foreign volunteers.
The group includes both former military personnel and civilians, such as a former police officer. Some members arrived in Ukraine only a few weeks ago, while one individual said that he has been engaged in combat operations alongside Kyiv since 2022.
He criticised the training levels of the Ukrainian forces and expressed a strong desire to establish a well-trained, cohesive team.
The Ukrainian commander of the unit told the radio station that in several months, the "International Revenge" group is expected to participate in both defensive and offensive operations.
