Israel, US to hold several large-scale military drills

Israel and the US will hold several large-scale military exercises in the coming months.

The scenario of one of the exercises envisages an imitation of an attack on Iran's nuclear facilities, Interfax reports citing Israeli media.

The Israeli and US military will work out the process of conducting the operations on several fronts at once.

The US is expected to send numerous Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems and other types of weapons to Israel to participate in the manoeuvres.

Israeli authorities think that Iran and its nuclear programme pose the biggest threat to Israel. Israel is convinced that Iran is secretly working on the creation of nuclear weapons, despite Tehran refuting this information.
