Israeli Air Force strikes Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon
The Israeli Air Force launched strikes on a military facility and a rocket launcher belonging to the Shiite organization Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.
The airstrikes were carried out in response to recent rocket attacks on Israeli territory, Caliber.Az informs, citing the Israeli Defence Forces’s press service.
the Israeli military press service confirmed the operation, stating that the strikes targeted areas near the villages of Kfar Kila and At-Tiri in the southern part of Lebanon.
In a statement, the military emphasized its commitment to countering the threat from Hezbollah, declaring that it will "continue to act against the threat posed by the terrorist organization Hezbollah in order to protect Israel."
Nearly 40,000 Palestinians have been killed in the Israeli military campaign in Gaza, according to the Gaza Health Ministry, which does not distinguish between fighters and civilians.
Palestinian health officials say most of the fatalities have been civilians. Israel, which has lost around 330 soldiers in Gaza, says around a third of the Palestinian dead are fighters.
