Biocon pharmaceutical warehouse reportedly hit near Ukraine's Boryspil VIDEO

A large pharmaceutical warehouse near Boryspil in Ukraine’s Kyiv region caught fire following an overnight attack, with firefighting operations still underway, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Thursday, September 3.

Ukrainian media reported that the warehouse was operated by Biocon, described as one of the country’s largest specialised pharmaceutical storage facilities. The potential losses from the attack could run into billions of hryvnias, according to media reports.

Zelenskyy said damage and destruction had been recorded in 13 Ukrainian regions during the night.

Strikes also affected the cities of Nikopol, Kherson, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia and Khmelnytskyi, he said.
