Israeli attacks on Gaza kills over 300 Palestinian health workers
Israeli attacks have killed at least 312 medical personnel in the Gaza Strip since the escalation of the armed conflict on October 7.
"Israeli crimes against Gaza's health care system resulted in the deaths of 312 medics, 104 ambulances were destroyed or put out of service. Israel also struck 142 medical facilities, putting 23 hospitals and 53 medical centres out of service," TASS reports, citing the Gaza Health Ministry’s Telegram channel.
Israel continues to hold in custody at least 99 Palestinian medical professionals, including the heads of hospitals located in northern Gaza.
In total, according to the ministry, since the beginning of the armed conflict between Israel and the Palestinian movement Hamas, 21,672 people have been killed and 56,165 injured.
