Para-badminton: Azerbaijani athletes shine with two silver medals in Istanbul

Azerbaijani para-badminton athletes concluded the European Championships in Istanbul with two silver medals, according to Report.

In the SH-6 category doubles final, 14-year-old Zahra Salmanlı and Kristen Coombs were defeated by their English opponents 0–2.

In the SU-5 category doubles final, 20-year-old Ibrahim Aliyev and Bartłomiej Mróz lost to the French pair 0–2.

Notably, this was the first time Azerbaijan was represented at the continental championship by a team of eight para-badminton players.
