Kazakhstan joins international forces to stabilize Gaza, Trump confirms
US President Donald Trump announced in Washington that Kazakhstan will join international efforts to stabilize the Gaza Strip by contributing both military and police personnel.
The announcement came during the inaugural session of the US-initiated Board of Peace, convened to address the ongoing situation in the Palestinian enclave.
Trump stated that Albania, Kosovo, and Kazakhstan had all pledged to provide troops and police to ensure stability in the Gaza Strip, and that Egypt and Jordan were also offering significant support by sending forces and providing training and assistance to highly reliable Palestinian police units.
The second phase of the Gaza peace plan includes disarming Palestinian militants, withdrawing Israeli forces from the enclave, deploying international stabilization forces, and establishing governance structures to oversee the territory.
Trump emphasized that the collaboration of these countries is central to creating a secure and sustainable framework for peace in Gaza, highlighting the international community’s role in supporting Palestinian security forces and maintaining stability in the region.
