Musk receives Ukraine’s Order of Freedom from Zelenskyy

American entrepreneur Elon Musk has been awarded Ukraine’s Order of Freedom by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to RBC-Ukraine, the award was announced in a presidential decree citing Musk’s “outstanding personal services in protecting human life and freedom” and his contribution to developing relations between Ukraine and the United States.

The decree identifies Musk as an entrepreneur, engineer and head of SpaceX and Tesla.

The Order of Freedom is Ukraine’s highest state honour and is awarded for outstanding services in upholding the country’s sovereignty and independence.
