Trump says Iran is “putting on a pretty good show”
The US president has said he does not think Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is dead, adding that if that is the case, Iran is putting on a pretty good show, after months of speculation about his health.
In an interview with US commentator Glenn Beck, he claimed Iran’s supreme leader was “very seriously wounded” on the left side of his body, Caliber.Az reports, citing Al Jazeera.
“I don’t think he’s dead and if he is, they [Iranian officials] are putting on a pretty good show because they talk about going back to talk to him all the time to get a final blessing on things,” Trump noted.
Mojtaba Khamenei has not been seen publicly since the US launched attacks on Iran on February 28, killing his father, longtime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
